The prestigious annual Keys Tournament is the biggest open tournament on the St Heliers Bowling Club calendar. The tournament is named after former member, Len Keys, who established the first bus services from St Heliers to the City and also represented New Zealand in the men's singles at the 1934 British Empire Games.
The tournament is open to any combination of Club fours and is limited to a maximum of 32 teams. Teams are required to have a minimum of three players from the same Club.Qualifying is held on the first day and will be decided on wins and ends. The top eight teams will then play in the main event with the remaining teams playing in groups of four for the Plate.
$1,000 first prize with a total prize pool up to $4,000* for this tournament.
